Thank you very much to all those who kindly supported the 2008 Dove Holes Carnival, held on Saturday 23rd August.
Your support enabled us to have a fabulous day which surpassed the hopes of all those who organised the event.

We were obviously very lucky with the weather which was wonderful, but also the people of Dove Holes turned out in their hundreds to cheer on the parade, enjoy the events and entertainment and take part in the many competitions too.
We have had many messages of thanks and congratulations for how the day went and people are already asking if we are going to do it all again next year ...
Well the answer is YES - on the same weekend, on Saturday 29th August 2009. The Carnival Committee will be having a meeting on 25th September this year to make preliminary arrangements, but the feeling is that things could be bigger, louder and even better next year!
We hope that you can join us again in helping to create a new exciting date for the local calendar.
